So i feel as if i should post more things on here. I’ve been quite distracted as of late with some certain hoopla and shenanigans.

Anyways, summers been fun so far. Hard to believe it’s already half way over

I kicked it off with a bang june 2nd when me and my band Denimclear played at the World Famous Nile Theater down in Mesa. We had a good 4 song set, and I personally had a wonderful time flailing around on stage and doing a bunch of crazy shit. My jeans definitely took a beating, and are completely torn at the knees.

When you’ve been a frontman for two years you tend to form a comfort zone after a certain amount of time, and once that comfort zone is established, you tend to care less of what your peers think of you, giving you more freedom to do more stage presence wise, and you can let yourself go. It’s that feeling of letting the music take control of your body and mind, feeling that jell or connection between you and your bandmates as you create a beautiful musical composition, that you can be rewarded with a temporary feeling of euphoria as you play.

Other than the gig June 2nd, my band got another opportunity to play a gig at The Fixx Coffee Shop down in Tempe, about two weeks later. Though the venue was smaller, it was still just as fun to play. We ended our set with a tight cover of Killing in the Name by Rage Against the Machine. While performing that song, i was able to release all of the tensions and stress from hormones we face as young, budding adults with my imitations of the raw screams and yells of Zach De La Rocha while performing the songs vocals.

We have another gig July 27th down at Martini Ranch, and we will be opening for the group Man Made Machine, who apparently has toured alongside Staind? Although we just had a few line up changes, we’re planning on still putting on a high energy rock show and going HAM.

All in all, pretty kick ass summer so far.

In other news, I had an idea of possibly posting short stories? Yet, I have no specific ideas on what to write about, nor am I sure if I have the time, or if anyone is interested in taking the time to read. Though what I do know is is that if I were to write a short story, it would either symbolize something in order to prove a point, almost like a moral story or fable, or it would be a intricate, strange twilight zonish Tim burtonish super crazy mindfuck kinda story with a twist at the end.

all in all, just a slight possibility of occurring in the near future!

Anyways, its quarter to 2 in the morning, i should get some sleep.

I came across an interesting theory while listening to one of my favorite bands, TOOL.

They wrote a song called Forty Six & Two, me being curious as always decided to do some research as to what exactly Tool was trying to get across in the meaning of the song.

The meaning was actually based off of a theory about the next evolutionary step for humans. I spent the rest of the night reading online about this, because the theory literally mindfucked me to the point of oblivion.

Here’s a quick summary. In basic genetics, we as human beings have 44 and 2 chromosomes, which in other words is 44 autosomes, or chromosomes that aren’t sex chromosomes, and 2 sex chromosomes. Well apparently, the next evolutionary step is developing two more autosomes, therefore making us have 46 and 2.

Follow me so far?

Now you may be asking, well how in fucks sake is that interesting in any way? Well here it comes.

The interesting part is imagining what exactly that would be like for us, and what that would feel like. Right now, we have one consciousness, our brain. No other cells, organs, or organ systems have any form of conscious thought. Now IMAGINE THIS. If we where to move on into our “46 and 2 stage” as humans, each and every single cell in our body would develop its own consciousness or its own developed brain, and basically work together with our brains to form an ALL POWERFUL CONSCIOUSNESS. EVERYTHING IN OUR BODY WOULD UNITE. Its reaaaaaaaally hard to imagine, but we could accomplish so much if this were to actually happen. We would reach a higher state of mind, therefore making us what we would imagine as GODS!

Boom. wow I’m such a nerd.
